10/6 – Help feed the unsheltered – We have volunteered to help Tanja Andersons group feed the homeless from 2:30 – 4:30. So I’m thinking we can meet at AEHD about 12:30, ride to have lunch, then ride to Quaker Park where we will help a local church that is sponsoring the event. It's an outside event in Quakertown Park. The homeless gather there on Sunday afternoons and we feed them, provide toiletry products, etc. There is a church sponsor that day that doesn't have many volunteers to serve, so we will help serve plus fellowship with the unsheltered. We are the only entity that feeds in Sunday, so our unsheltered friends are very grateful. We've been doing this almost 2 years. We started out feeding a handful, but now serve around 100 weekly. Everything is donated, so all we need are servant hearts, smiles and sometimes a hug goes a long way.
10/13 - Hey AEHOG family! Let's take a ride to Rhome! Rhome, TX that is! I recently had a friend eat at the Giant Burger here and said it was GREAT! Meet at AEHD at 10:00a.m. KSU at 10:15a.m. for a hour ride there. Can't wait to see you there!!
