Accident on 9/11/16
Yesterday, on the ride to Loco Coyote, one of our riders didn't quite make one of the turns and went down. He went a little wide, hit the dirt and then lost control. He and his passenger are OK, both are a bit banged up and have some road rash, but nothing was broken. Luckily, it was a fairly sharp turn and he wasn't going very fast when it happened. I want to thank everyone that was there helping yesterday. By the time we realized that part of our pod was missing and got back to where they were, Bruce Lamach, along with an unidentified good Samaritan rider, already had a bandage on the passengers road rash and were keeping her calm. Bruce was also on the phone with the 911 folks directing them to the crash site. Greg Barnhart was making sure that people coming up onto the scene were slowing down so that we wouldn't have another accident. Several people were assisting as they could. I want to thank all of the AEHOG members that helped SO much during this very trying event. Everyone came together and worked as a family to keep the situation under control and help our friends during this very stressful event. YOU PEOPLE ROCK!!!
